Outside the museum you will find a wooden dragon to play on. It is also possible to borrow a children-sized Viking ship on wheels, so the way to the burial mound is not too long.
Food and drink
It is possible to buy hot and cold drinks, cake and ice cream, which can be enjoyed at the café tables indoors or outdoors. There is also few tables and benches in front of the Museum and the greenery of the hill with the view over Kerteminde Fjord.
You are welcome to enjoy your picnic inside and outside.
Both the museum building and the mound with the viking grave is accesible with ramps and no threshold. The museum building has a lift.
The walk from the parking lot in front of the museum building to the mound can be challenging as it is on gravel/grass and not 100 % level.
In the basement of the museum building there is a toilet which is suitable for disabled people. The basement is easily accessible by elevator.
There is free admission for accompagning care assistants. Guide dogs are welcome.
The museum has a wheelchair which can be borrowed.
Dogs at the museum
Visitors are welcome to bring their dogs - but not in the museum building or the mound with the ship grave. There is a "dog parking" in front of the museum building.

Viking Ladby is located 5 km south of Kerteminde. There is disabled parking and turning area for buses directly at the museum's entrance.
