The Ladby Tapestry will come home

Tid: From March 23, 2018
Sted: The Viking Museum at Ladby

Finally, it will once again be possible to view the Ladby Tapestry at the Viking Museum at Ladby. Now in its full length!

When the Ladby Tapestry was completed in the sewing room at the Viking Museum in July, 2017, it was packed and moved to the Johannes Larsen Museum. There it has been on display in a fine exhibition throughout the autumn.

However, the Ladby Tapestry belongs at the Viking Museum at Ladby, and therefore we have made space for it in the permanent exhibition so that the tapestry can be shown here beginning on March 23, 2018. The tapestry will be on view in the first exhibition room and will function as an introduction to the whole story about the Ladby King, the Ladby Ship, the find of the burial mound, etc.
