Come on into the Vikings’ wardrobe.

The Vikings wore colourful and elegant clothes. They were really into their clothes, which of course, also had a practical function - to keep the Vikings warm.

With the exhibition The King of Ladby’s Clothing Chest, we are expanding the current special exhibition, The World of the Ladby King, with a theme room about Viking clothing, and how they dyed and sewed their clothes in the Viking period.
