Sewing Sunday: Try it out

Sted: The Viking Museum at Ladby
Learn to embroider using the Bayeux stitch, with inspiration from the Ladby Tapestry.
Try your hand at the Ladby Tapestry’s stitch and go in the embroiderers’ footsteps. Embroider your own piece, which you can take home with you, or be part of embroidering a mini-tapestry that will remain at the museum.
Choose from the following options:
- Buy a little sewing kit with the motif already drawn on the cloth. Price: 20 kr.
- Bring your own cloth and yarn with you. Free
- Embroider on a shared mini-tapestry. Free
For both adults and children.
There is limited space, so come early.

The Viking Museum Ladby
More than 10,000 people visited the Viking Museum at Ladby during the school summer holidays. That is more guests during that period than ever before.
